Are my cam gears ready to install right out of the box?

No. These adjustable cam gears are packaged with the adjustment bolts just tight enough to make sure they stay in place during shipping. You must make sure you torque all 6 adjustment bolts on each gear to spec (96 in/lbs.) before installation or the gears might slip which could cause engine damage.
